As City Administrator for the City of Pensacola, Tim "Lucky" Kinsella explains that his job is to oversee the day-to-day operations of city government and to enact the Mayor’s vision. At our meeting today, he presented an executive summary of the city’s recently announced strategic plan, "Strive to Thrive–Pensacola 2035."

"Safe, Secure, Accurate" elections are what Escambia County Supervisor of Elections Robert Bender and the Florida Division of Elections are dedicated to achieving, as we heard today from our speaker. Following a presentation on voter and election statistics, Supervisor Bender explained in detail the 9-point program his operation goes through to assure election security. Financial advisor Ryan Patton with Stifel/Pensacola presented a fascinating program today on "Behavioral Finance & Investment Decisions: Frameworks to Make Better Money Choices." He gave us lots of food for thought as he shared the theories of Daniel Kahneman (and others), a psychologist whose work in the psychology of judgment and decision-making and behavioral economics earned the 2002 Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences.
