Today we welcomed Pensacola Police Department's new chief, Eric Winstrom. Chief Winstrom shared with us his background and his early thoughts of police departments. He is settling in and says that his family is excited for the move to Pensacola. "Trust is a key component not only of leadership within a police department but also between the department and the community it serves." Winstrom said, "I'm well aware that trust is earned and there are no shortcuts in earning it. I am eager to get to work with the team already in place at PPD." Welcome Chief Winstrom to Pensacola!! Thanks to our Five Flags Rotary team for keeping all the participants in Saturday�McGuire’s Irish Pub Irish Pub 5k Prediction Run well hydrated! Working at the water station is one of our favorite events during the year, and of course, the street party afterwards with thousands of our Pensacola friends!

Last week we welcomed Stacey Kostevicki, Executive Director for the Gulf Coast Kids House. She shared an update on what is going on at the GCKH and about the groundbreaking for the Healing Garden. She also explained what Know Child Abuse. Five Flags is listed under the organizational tab and every member can take the pre-test, training, and post-test under our name.
