The story of Operation Helo–the subject of our program yesterday–can’t be summed up in a sentence or two. Our Monday meeting will feature the amazing story of Operation Helo, the disaster relief mission involving volunteer private helicopter pilots who saved lives in the mountains of Western North Carolina following Hurricane Helene. Telling that story will be Matt McSwain, co-founder of Operation Helo, and pilot Harry O’Nan. (Bay Center, noon)
